Canada said the value of building permits plunged
11 per cent in January from December, hitting their lowest since May, 2004. The
value of residential permits sank 6.8 per cent, as single-family construction
intentions in the Toronto area fell to nearly a six-year
low. Due to the increasing amount of immigrants coming in, the market is just
growing all the time.
